NBA Finals Wager - Six Flags Over Texas Bets Against Six Flags New England
Six Flags Over Texas and its sister park Six Flags New England, located in Agawam, Massachusetts, have set a friendly wager for the upcoming NBA Finals series kicking off on Thursday, June 6. Six Flags Over Texas will, of course, be cheering on their beloved Mavericks, while Six Flags New England supports the Boston Celtics.

The new multi-launch water coaster at Six Flags Over Texas, in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC, is the first of its kind in North America. The ride opens this weekend to park guests just in time for Spring Break and Scream Break.

Six Flags Over Texas announced today that passholder previews will take place for the all-new Aquaman: Power Wave roller coaster on two weekends leading up to the ride’s grand opening. When it opens, the high-thrill Aquaman: Power Wave water coaster will be the first ride of its kind to debut in North America.
Six Flags Over Texas Confirms the Permanent Closure of Harley Quinn Spinsanity
This weekend, Six Flags Over Texas confirmed via Twitter the permanent closure of the Harley Quinn Spinsanity flat ride. Harley Quinn Spinsanity officially opened at Six Flags Over Texas on July 14, 2018 as part of the park’s newer Gotham City area expansion. Harley Quinn Spinsanity featured a unique triple box design, creating the ability to spin around on three different axes at the same time.
Tons of Park Upgrades Coming for 2023, New Event Details & Aquaman Updates
Six Flags Over Texas heads into 2023 with tons of planned upgrades for the new year. These include fresh paint jobs on multiple rides, two restroom remodels, upgrades and extensive refurbishments to existing roller coasters and more. On top of this, the park has announced interesting new events, such as Scream Break, that are set to debut this year. We also check out Aquaman: Power Wave, which now has entrance signage and appears close to an opening date announcement.

Aquaman: Power Wave Debut Delayed Again to 2023
Today, Six Flags Over Texas announced that Aquaman: Power Wave, North America’s first PowerSplash attraction, will now be opening in spring of 2023. Aquaman: Power Wave’s history has featured several twists and turns due to the worldwide pandemic and design changes. Originally set to open in 2020, the attraction will be the park’s fifteenth roller coaster.
