Holiday in the Park
Six Flags Over Texas celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with Holiday in the Park. The festive event features live entertainment, family-friendly activities, specialty food offerings and visits with Santa Claus.
Kids Boo Fest
Kids Boo Fest at Six Flags Over Texas is a family-friendly, daytime Halloween event that features live entertainment and not-so-spooky activities, such as a trick-or-treat trail and the crazy hay maze.
Fright Fest
When the fog rolls in at night, Fright Fest takes over Six Flags Over Texas. This Halloween celebration features several new haunts themed to popular horror franchises, live entertainment, spooky decor and monster-filled scare zones.
Oktoberfest Food Festival
Fall is in the air as Six Flags Over Texas celebrates with the Oktoberfest Food Festival. This event features food and adult beverages, the keg tapping ceremony, games of skill, Oktoberfest characters and decor.
4th of July Celebration
Six Flags Over Texas celebrates the 4th of July each evening from July 4 to 6. The 4th of July Celebration features a fireworks show, accompanied by live music, taking place at 9:30pm each evening.
Coasting for Kids Fundraiser
This summer, we’ll be coasting to support Give Kids The World Village, a nonprofit resort that provides cost-free vacations for children with critical illnesses and their families. Give Kids The World gives these children and their families time away from hospitals, doctors and treatments.
Lone Star Coasterthon
Lone Star Coasterthon returns to Six Flags Over Texas this year on April 20 and 21. The multi-day enthusiast event features exclusive ride time on marquee roller coasters and attractions, multiple meals, Lone Star Coasterthon t-shirt, behind-the-scenes tours, Q&A with the park president and other surprises.
Solar Coaster
On April 8, Six Flags Over Texas celebrates a rare total eclipse from 11am to 4pm. The park will have select rides and attractions open, along with a special fireworks and drone show during the eclipse.
¡Viva la Fiesta!
Originally introduced in 2021, the festive event features Latin-inspired culinary offerings, themed live entertainment and bright, vibrant decor throughout the park.
Scream Break
Spring Break evenings at Six Flags Over Texas aren’t for the faint of heart as the haunts roll in. For 2024, Scream Break shifts to the 1960s to the land of luaus and tiki music. Experience select attractions in the Texas section, entertainment and the new Curse of the Polynesian Palm haunted house.
Spring Break
When school is out for Spring Break, Six Flags Over Texas opens up daily, featuring iconic high-thrill attractions, special decor and photo opportunities throughout the park.
Veterans Weekend
Six Flags Over Texas celebrates veterans and active military on November 11. Veterans, active duty and retired military personnel are eligible to receive free admission and parking during their visit.
Pride Celebration
Six Flags Over Texas celebrates Pride Month every Friday and Saturday through the month of June. Pride Month celebrates love, representation and unity for all. Most Pride celebration activities are family-friendly and inclusive for all ages.
