Six Flags Over Texas Confirms the Permanent Closure of Harley Quinn Spinsanity
This weekend, Six Flags Over Texas confirmed via Twitter the permanent closure of the Harley Quinn Spinsanity flat ride. Harley Quinn Spinsanity officially opened at Six Flags Over Texas on July 14, 2018 as part of the park’s newer Gotham City area expansion. Harley Quinn Spinsanity featured a unique triple box design, creating the ability to spin around on three different axes at the same time.
An Interesting Final Visit to Holiday in the Park 2022
Our final visit to Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas takes place the week before Christmas. Though the park has more decorations since our previous visit, we run into issues with Holiday Market offerings closing early and the midday cancellation of shows.
A Cold, Slow & Rainy Start to Holiday in the Park 2022

Six Flags Over Texas has announced that Pirates of Speelunker Cave, an all-new ride experience, will make its debut on Saturday, May 14, 2022. This state-of-the-art attraction will place guests squarely in the middle of a pirate treasure hunt thwarted by resident Speelunkers.
New Ride Construction Continues, Food Fails & Several Park Changes

Casa Magnetica to Close Until Fall
Six Flags Over Texas has announced that Casa Magnetica will close at the end of their Spring Break celebration on March 20. Though it is scheduled to remain down through the summer months, the park has noted that Casa Magnetica is planned to reopen in the fall.
Belly-Down Ride Experience Comes to Texas SkyScreamer
Six Flags Over Texas has announced that the all-new “Extreme Flying Experience” comes to Texas SkyScreamer for a limited time. Guests can trade in the standard swing seat for a flight suit and experience Texas SkyScreamer laying belly-down.
