Belly-Down Ride Experience Comes to Texas SkyScreamer
Six Flags Over Texas has announced that the all-new “Extreme Flying Experience” comes to Texas SkyScreamer for a limited time. Guests can trade in the standard swing seat for a flight suit and experience Texas SkyScreamer laying belly-down.
The “Extreme Flying Experience” does require an additional fee with flight tickets available for purchase at the Ladder Climb game in the park’s Gotham City section. Though exact dates haven’t been announced as of this post, the belly-down ride option is advertised to last at least through their Spring Break celebration (March 11 to 20).
Texas SkyScreamer opened at Six Flags Over Texas during its 2013 season on May 25. Standing 400 feet tall and reaching speeds of up to 35 miles per hour, the attraction was the tallest of its kind when first opened. Belly-down ride harnesses first appeared at Six Flags Fiesta Texas on their SkyScreamer attraction last December. The concept has become a permanent upcharge option for riders at the park.
