El Sombrero Refurbishment, New Ride Lockers, Park-Wide Projects
A second Roller Coaster Coffee, which serves Starbucks products, is set to open next to the park’s Flash Pass headquarters.
Work is taking place outside of the DC Comics & Looney Tunes store near the park’s entrance. It appears an enhanced facade is being added, along with new shades of paint.
Theming enhancements are taking place in the park’s Mexico area as new string lighting structures have been installed.
Scheduled refurbishment of El Sombrero has begun. Crews have disassembled the ride’s “hat” topper and it has been repainted orange and white.
The ride’s primary structure is also being prepped for a fresh coat of paint.
Ride lockers have arrived and are being installed at Aquaman: Power Wave. These new lockers will be free for those riding the attraction. Free ride lockers are also scheduled to be installed at Titan.
A new character meet and greet location has been introduced in the park’s France section.
The new meet and greet features a France-themed backdrop with hints of Six Flags Over Texas mixed in.
