‘Bigger and Brighter’: Six Flags Over Texas Announces Massive Expansion of Holiday in the Park Celebration for 2024
North Texas’ premier Christmas event, Holiday in the Park®, returns to Six Flags Over Texas bigger, brighter, and better than ever. This year’s festival will feature seven new shows and four new seasonal activities for the whole family, partnered with fan favorites such as photos with Santa, thrilling rides and dazzling lights. Holiday in the Park opens Sunday, Nov. 24 and runs weekends and select weekdays through Dec. 31.

Six Flags Over Texas Announces Opening of Two Family Rides
Six Flags Over Texas, the Thrill Capital of Texas, today announced that two new rides, Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters and Sylvester and Tweety Pounce and Bounce, will be opening to the public on July 4 at 3 p.m., 2024. A Grand Opening ceremony will be held on July 6 at 11:00 a.m.

Six Flags Over Texas has begun their summertime operations, opening daily until they close on Tuesdays beginning later in the month. Our final visit to Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas takes place the week before Christmas. Though the park has more decorations since our previous visit, we run into issues with Holiday Market offerings closing early and the midday cancellation of shows.

Total revenue for third quarter 2022 decreased $133 million, or 21%, compared to third quarter 2021, driven by lower attendance partially offset by higher per capita spending.
