Daffy Duck Lake, Looney Tunes USA
Yosemite Sam’s Texas Tea Cups was located at the site of a former attraction. From 1985 to 2000, this area was home to Daffy Duck Lake. Guests would board small boats, located on water, and take on a relaxing circular adventure. In 2000, Daffy Duck Lake was removed to make way for a new upgrade and expansion of the children’s area. In 2001, Yosemite Sam’s Texas Tea Cups was installed and the children’s area was renamed Looney Tunes USA. Other attractions added during the expansion included Taz’s New York Adventure, the Route 66 Bumper Cars and Sylvester & Tweety’s State Fair-is Wheel. On January 7, 2024, Six Flags Over Texas announced the closure of Yosemite Sam’s Texas Tea Cups. A relocated Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters would soon take its place, reopening on July 4, 2024.
Yosemite Sam’s Texas Tea Cups was a perfect starter ride for young thrill seekers.
