Work continues on several projects at Six Flags Over Texas. Aquaman: Power Wave and Pirates of the Deep Sea continue to progress for their 2022 opening. Painting of the Mr. Freeze roller coaster appears all but complete. Major changes and improvements have also taken place in the park’s Front Gate and Old South sections.

We take a look at progress on new in-park restaurants, virtual reality coming to Superman: Tower of Power, and the progress of Oil Derrick’s new paint job at Six Flags Over Texas.

The iconic light blue color of Mr. Freeze is replaced with a dark blue support and red track color scheme near the end of the 2006 season.
