Dinosaurs Come to Six Flags Over Texas
Massive dinosaurs have made their debut at Six Flags Over Texas. The attraction is a reimagining of the Chaparral Antique Cars, which have been a park staple since their debut in 1962. Dino Off Road Adventure features new cars from Gould Manufacturing, a landscaping refresh along the ride’s route and fifteen dinosaur animatronics, designed by Dino Don, Inc.
Call Back to the Classic
Dino Off Road Adventure received a fresh fleet of ride vehicles for its debut. Though the ride operates fourteen cars at a time, seventeen were purchased. These updated cars may look slightly different, but Arrow Development blueprints (Chaparral Antique Cars) were the basis for their build. The ride’s direction was reversed as the steering wheel shifted to the left-hand side of the car.
