The Crooked House

Casa Magnetica was originally introduced at Six Flags Over Texas during the 1962 season. This classic crooked house walk-through attraction tricks guests with several gravity-defying features. Sitting on a 34-degree angle, Casa Magnetica features an enthusiastic tour guide that creates a number of mind-boggling illusions, including items rolling uphill.

In 1979, Casa Magnetica took on a new theme and was renamed The Lost Temple of the Chisos. However, by 1980, the attraction was renamed back to Casa Magnetica. Six Flags Over Texas closed the attraction in 1997 and it was standing, but not operating through the 2003 season. The attraction reopened shortly in 2004, and again in 2011 for the park’s 50th anniversary celebration.
