Spring Break evenings at Six Flags Over Texas aren’t for the faint of heart as the haunts roll in. For 2024, Scream Break shifts to the 1960s to the land of luaus and tiki music. Experience select attractions in the Texas section, entertainment and the new Curse of the Polynesian Palm haunted house.

Attractions & Entertainment
Lōkahi Welcome Center
Casa Magnetica comes back to life during Scream Break as it transforms into the Lōkahi Welcome Center. Start your evening’s adventure here to learn from natives about the island’s history and the Polynesian Palm resort.
Curse of the Polynesian Palm
Once you’ve visited the Lōkahi Welcome Center, head to the island’s Polynesian Palm. This all-new haunted attraction was once a lavish resort. Unfortunately, the warnings of the island’s natives come to fruition as those who enter experience the ultimate nightmare.
Live Entertainment & Spooky Characters
Scream Break features multiple entertainment offerings, including a live DJ at the Court House Stage, a fire dancer in the streets of the Texas section and dancing Hula Ghouls throughout the evening. Beware of other spooky characters walking around the area, such as giant stilt tiki creatures and sliders.
Exclusive Ride Access
Event attendees have exclusive access to both El Aserradero and Rodeo as part of admission. El Aserradero’s flume one also features a spooky Scream Break overlay with subtle lighting and fog effects.
FineApples
Located inside Crazy Horse Saloon, FineApples bar features a number of adult beverages, including Skull on the Beach (mocktail version also available) and Rank Sinatra’s Party Bags. Visitors can also lounge inside while enjoying interactive games and camera feeds from the Curse of the Polynesian Palm haunt.
Tiki It Easy Bar
Located at the exit of the Curse of the Polynesian Palm, this cozy tiki bar features libations, such as Cool Blue, the Tipsy Tiki and the Little Kahuna Shot. Make sure to ask the ghoulish bartender about mocktail offerings as well.
Pricing & Tickets
Entry into Scream Break requires an additional ticket. Tickets give you full access to the event area, including the new Curse of the Polynesian Palm haunted house, exclusive rides and attractions, live entertainment and specialty bars.
